HIPAA and HITECH Acts

An additional feature that separate our services from most learning management systems (LMS) include compliance with protected health information (PHI) of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Health Information for Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, including secure email, HTTPS, FTPS and FDA CFR Part 11.

Language Customization

For companies requiring an easy-to-use multi-language LMS, this add-on option allow learners to utilize the TOPYX platform in their preferred language by choosing from a simple drop-down list. TOPYX supports any right to left or up and down language. Our list of current languages include:

Sandbox Sites

A sandbox is a TOPYX replica site with a company’s branding and database. Used for staging, organizations with their branding would first do it on the test site so not to impact their production site for learners. Organizations with more complicated user groups test in the sandbox site to make sure hierarchies are correct. Sandbox sites are first updated so administration teams can confirm they are satisfied with a new release before applied to their production site.

LRS

TOPYX also provides an LRS add-on feature. An LRS is an application that can capture, report, and share user records in a way that makes them compatible for use with different systems. The LRS stores the xAPI statements connected to learning activities. An organization has to be using xAPI for the LRS to be in play. Most LMS vendors do not have LRS options, and if they do, they are always for an additional fee.
